Dean Stoneman lost his seventh place finish in race two at Motorland Aragon after being handed a twenty-five second penalty for speeding in the pit lane whilst taking his mandatory pit stop.

The Red Bull-backed DAMS driver drops to thirteenth as a result, with Jazeman Jaafar now inheriting the Britons seventh place in his Fortec Motorsports, machine. Alfonso Celis Jr also moves up to eighth for AVF, while Manor F1 Team driver Roberto Merhi now takes ninth for Pons Racing. The final point now goes to Bruno Bonifacio of International Draco Racing.

Meanwhile, the incident between race winner Matthieu Vaxiviere and runner-up Nyck de Vries at the final corner when the two clashed while fighting for the lead was deemed a racing incident, with no penalty handed out to either driver.

The Formula Renault 3.5 Series will next be on track at Monaco at the end of May, the only time all season where it will support Formula 1.
