Jamie Green on Pole for Race 1

Qualifying for race 1 of the 2015 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters has just ended and Jamie Green will start from pole position, after setting a time of 1:33.044 in his #53 Audi RS5 DTM.

Closely behind will be Pascal Wehrlein in the #94 Mercedes-AMG C63 DTM, after setting a time just 0.116 seconds behind.

In third is Augusto Farfus‘s #18 Audi RS5 DTM, meaning that all three manufacturers will start from the top three, ensuring an exciting start.

Fourth on the grid will be Edoardo Mortara who couldn’t match his practice session pace in the short 20 minute qualifying session, whilst Nico Müller will start on 5th. Next to Müller will be Paul di Resta in 6th.

In 7th will be Mike Rockenfeller, followed by Adrien TambayTom Blomqvist and Miguel Molina rounding out the top 10.

The Audi is looking very strong this weekend, with 6 starting the race from the top 10, compared to two cars each from BMW and Mercedes.

The 40-minute race 1 from Hockenheim will start at 14:45 CEST, and 13:45 UK time.
