Nissan to support Infiniti Red Bull Racing for fourth consecutive year

1 Mins read

For the fourth year running, Nissan will provide light commercial vehicles (LCV) and related services to the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Team.

Nissan is supporting the Formula 1 team with a fleet of Primastar vehicles to celebrating the start of the 2015 European season, and is ensuring that the racing efforts of the team are not affected by the transportation of people and equipment between the race tracks.

The Renault-powered Infiniti Red Bull Racing is being transported by a fleet of Nissan LCVs from their global headquarters in Milton Keynes, and is providing them with NV400, Navara and Primastars to take the logisitical load for the team.

Nissan Corporate Vice President Philippe Guérin-Boutaud is happy to continue the partnership with the team and believe that the partnership still has benefits for both parties.

“We are very pleased to continue our support of the multiple World Champion Infiniti Red Bull Racing team and look forward to the coming season,” said Guerin-Boutaud.

“Nissan is confident that our wide range of innovative, reliable and versatile light commercial vehicles – from pickups and trucks to vans – will provide valuable support to the team at Formula One races around the world.”

Infiniti-Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner  is delighted that the partnership has been renewed and believe that Nissan are the best partner that they could want for the team.

“This partnership with Nissan LCV has brought significant benefits to our team and demonstrated the value of working with the right commercial vehicle partner,” said Horner.

“One of the biggest challenges we face is managing the logistically complex operations of transporting people and equipment, and we are delighted to continue working with Nissan LCV in 2015.”
