The organisers of the Michelin Clio Cup Series have confirmed that the annual ‘Autumn Cup’ event will not take place as planned this October.
The end-of-season event was originally scheduled for the 17th October at Rockingham Motor Speedway, however the organising club, the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC), have decided not to organise the meeting.
The Autumn Cup had run at the end of the inaugural season in 2013, with Devon Modell and Jamie Clarke sharing the wins for SV Racing at Rockingham, however the event did not take place last year.
The 2015 Michelin Clio Cup Series returns to action this weekend at Croft in North Yorkshire, with Luke Herbert and Luke Pinder leading the Race and Road classes respectively heading into Rounds Six and Seven.
