Deletraz to debut in Austria with Comtec

1 Mins read

Comtec Racing will rejoin the Formula Renault 3.5 Series grid in Austria next week after confirming the current Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 Championship leader Louis Deletraz will drive for them at the Red Bull Ring.

Swiss driver Deletraz, who is part of the BMW Junior Team, also leads the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC Championship with Josef Kaufmann Racing, and joins the Comtec Racing team who took Swedish driver Alx Danielsson to the 3.5 title back in 2006.

“I’m really excited by this new challenge with Comtec Racing,” said Deletraz.

“My main target is to learn for the future. I know it’s really difficult to join a championship at mid-season, as I’m total newcomer compared to the experienced drivers, but I will give it my all.”
