Peugeot UK driver Chris Ingram heads to the next round of the FIA ERC Junior Rally Championship, the auto24 Rally Estonia, looking to improve his run in the series. The Manchester born driver has had a generally positive campaign so far taking victory in the Azores and third on the Circuit of Ireland and is currently second in the championship standings.
Ingram heads to Estonia full of confidence as his he bids for his second win of the season. The Peugeot 208 R2 driver has shown great form on gravel this year and although the fast flowing stages of Estonia are quite different to the twisty narrow stages of the Azores Ingram and his co-driver Gabin Moreau are looking forward to the challenge.
“We won in the Azores, which was also a gravel rally, so we head to Estonia feeling confident, with a really good set-up on the Peugeot 208 ‘R2’.”, said the Briton, “We’ll try to have a good test on a road that is as similar to the actual rally as we can possibly find, just to fine-tune the 208 for the fast flowing roads and high-speed jumps. The priority is to be one hundred per cent happy with the car’s set-up, which is what we’ll work at before Estonia.”
Rally Estonia kicks off on July 17.
