Network Q Named as WRGB National Rally Sponsor

1 Mins read

Network Q has been announced as the title sponsor for 2015 Wales Rally GB‘s WRGB National Rally, bringing an iconic name back into UK rallying.

The company previously held this role for Britain’s round of the FIA World Rally Championship between 1993 and 2002, and is reviving this partnership in order to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

To celebrate this occurrence, Network Q will host an event at the Deeside service area, along with providing a fleet of 80 support vehicles for the rally itself.

“Rally GB has played a significant part in our history and we are very pleased that the WRGB National Rally can play a part in our 25th anniversary celebrations,” said Derek Wilson, Network Q Operations Director.

“Sponsorship of the WRGB National Rally offers us a chance to support the amateur competitors who are the backbone of the sport in the UK.”

The Network Q WRGB National Rally route will be similar to that of the World Rally Championship round, providing amateurs with the chance of following in the footsteps of the premier category’s drivers.

Last year’s event was a sell-out with a full crowd, and organisers are sure of repeating its success in 2015. The rally takes place from Thursday November 12 – Sunday November 15.
