Josh Webster (Team Parker Racing) and Dan Cammish (Redline Racing) are both on course for success in the Scottish Porsche Carrera Cup GB encounters, with the pair taking a pole position each for tomorrow’s two races at Knockhill.
Webster will be hoping to take his second win of the season, following his earlier success at Spa-Francorchamps. Cammish meanwhile, will simply try to maintain his already outstanding record of victories and podium finishes.
The pair both also hold a second position on the grid for races eleven and twelve of the season respectively. Samsung SUHD TV Racing man Michael Meadows is third on the grid for both of the Fife based races.
To Pro-Am1, which sees Juta Racing’s Ignas Gelzinis and Redline Racing’s Jordan Witt both take a pole and a second position. Astoundingly both driver’s pole position times were good enough for fifth overall on their respective grids, besting some of the leading Pro class contenders. Daniel McKay makes his debut for In2Racing an impressive third for both races.
In Pro-Am2 three drivers, as in the other classes, lock-out the top three for both races. Francis Galashan (GT Marques) has one pole and one second, Nerijus Dagilis of Juta has pole for race two and third for race one, with Thomas Jennings completing the trio for G-Cat Racing with a second position grid slot and then a third position grid slot for the afternoon’s event.
Race one takes place at 9:00am tomorrow morning with race two later on at 3:00pm. Full results for all of this weekend’s racing activity at Knockhill may be found here: http://www.tsl-timing.com/event/153403
