Scuderia Ferrari summoned to stewards following Singapore GP

The Scuderia Ferrari has been summoned to see the stewards in Singapore following an alleged post-race infraction of parc ferme regulations following Sebastian Vettel’s dominant victory on Sunday.

A statement from the FIA said Ferrari had breached article 12.1.1.i of the Sporting Code, with team members of the Italian team being involved in the rule contravention.

The ruling in question states: ‘Failure to follow the instructions of the relevant officials for the safe and orderly conduct of the Event.’

The Checkered Flag will give further information when it happens, although Vettel’s victory is not thought to be under threat.

Stupid F1 – only about the dull technical rules. Wheel to wheel racing anyone?

  • Craig Boon

Not really a “dull technical rule” the team broke through an official barrier.

  • Richard Owen

I think that they should be stripped of their points and the aforementioned given to Mclaren.

  • Craig Boon

But to honest Richard – you always think that no matter what happens ;)
