Clio Cup Agree Ground-Breaking American Television Deal

1 Mins read

The Renault UK Clio Cup will receive television coverage in North America for the first time following an agreement with sports channel MavTV.

The new deal, arranged by major international motorsport content provider and distributor Performance Communications Group will see the channel show coverage of both the 2015 and 2016 Clio Cup seasons.

The Clio will join a diverse range of championships being broadcast on the motorsport-focused MavTV channel, including the FIA World Rally Championship, Pirelli World Challenge and FIA European Drag Racing Championship.

The channel will bring the championship to a prospective audience of around thirty million households in the USA and Canada, on top of the live coverage and post-weekend highlights with ITV Sport in the UK.

“We are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm the broadcast of our championship into multi-million households across North America. This is terrific news for all our drivers, teams, sponsors and partners,” said Renaultsport’s UK Motorsport Championship Manager Will Fewkes.
