For the fourth consecutive season, the Renault UK Clio Cup champion will be rewarded with a prize test in Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship machinery.
The test opportunity will once again come courtesy of tyre supplier Dunlop, and will see the champion sample a Ford Focus NGTC with leading BTCC outfit Motorbase Performance.
In previous years, champions Josh Files, Mike Bushell and Ashley Sutton have seized the opportunity to test race-winning BTCC machinery.
For 2014 champion Bushell, the test marked his first chance to test a NGTC Focus before he went on to race one in the BTCC last season.
“We pride ourselves on being able to give the top drivers in championships we support a further chance to learn and impress as part of the next step of their careers,” commented Micky Butler, Dunlop’s UK Motorsport Manager.
“The 2016 UK Clio Cup grid is looking phenomenal and whoever wins the title will richly deserve it. We look forward very much to meeting the new champion at our test with Motorbase later in the year.”
