A six weekend, fourteen race calendar has been confirmed for the inaugural running of the B-TEC Development Series this year.

The season will commence with one of two triple header meetings for the year at Brands Hatch, the other at Donington Park following visits to Croft and Rockingham.

Anglesey and Pembrey will house the final two meetings of the season, two circuits that modern BTCC machinery have not previously raced around.

The new touring car championship has been introduced to house older NGTC-specification BTCC cars with the GPRM control parts and a Development Series engine built by Swindon Engines.
