Fagg And Harper Impress In Donington Ginetta Testing

1 Mins read

Charlie Fagg and Dan Harper set the pace during an intriguing day of testing ahead of this weekend’s ground-breaking Ginetta Junior Championship triple-header meeting at Donington Park.

It was HHC Motorsport’s Fagg that ended the official pre-event test fastest overall, with Harper heading the Rookie contingent in second overall, having topped the timesheets in the opening session.

An incredibly close session saw just over a second split the first seventeen drivers, with the top twelve separated by only four tenths of a second – meaning we’re looking set for three typically close-fought encounters this weekend.

Fagg’s best effort of 1m 24.509s have him top spot by just over a tenth of a second from Harper, with that same measurement of time separating second to sixth – Harper leading Dave Wooder, Stuart Middleton, Lewis Brown and Seb Priaulx.

Priaulx would prove to be the second quickest Rookie contender on the day, with the next best Tom Gamble and Max Bird rounding out the top ten behind Geri Nicosia and Connor Grady, with Jordan Collard and local racer Tom Wood in hot pursuit.

Full testing times can be found here.
