DMACK British Rally Team secure perfect end to successful BRC season

1 Mins read

DMACK rounded out the 2016 MSA British Rally Championship in the perfect way as they dominated Rally Isle of Man across all classes.

2016 MSA BRC drivers champion Elfyn Evans lead home a DMACK British Rally Team 1-2 with Manxman Mark Higgins making an impressive return to his home roads in the second Ford Fiesta R5. The double podium finish meant that the DMACK team had done enough to secure the BRC Teams’ Championship in addition to DMACK runners winning the overall, BRC1, BRC2 and Junior BRC classes.

Matt Edwards managed a fine fifth place to help ensure there were a total of five DMACK-shod cars in the overall top ten. Donnie MacDonald took victory in the Rally Isle of Man National Rally.

“We’ve had the perfect end to an extremely successful season.” said Glenn Patterson, DMACK British Rally Team manager.

“Winning on both gravel and asphalt, and across the full range of classes, shows we have the most competitive products for all competitors in the UK. The fight for the win was intense and both drivers worked extremely hard all weekend to secure a dream result for DMACK.” he added.
