Stanley Makes Late Supercup Entry For Brands Hatch

1 Mins read

Former British GT4 champion Jamie Stanley will make his Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup debut at Brands Hatch this weekend with Fox Motorsport.

Both team and driver have been regulars in the British GT Championship in recent seasons; Stanley having won the GT4 title back in 2010 in a Speedworks Motorsport Ginetta G50.

The Fox outfit made their Supercup debut in the final two meetings of the 2014 season meanwhile, with team manager Paul McNeilly securing a best finish of eleventh overall at Silverstone (pictured).

The team are returning to the grid this weekend with a view to competing on the British Touring Car Championship support paddock full-time in 2017.

“This is my first event as a driver on the TOCA package and I’m really looking forward to it,” said Stanley.

“Paul [McNeilly], is keen to showcase the team to the Ginetta Supercup and Junior paddock as we view them as a big part of the teams future plans in motorsport. Of course, I’m going all out for some podium appearances too!”
