Excelr8 Launch Maiden Junior Entry With Scholarship Contest

1 Mins read

Leading MINI Challenge squad Excelr8 Motorsport will enter the Ginetta Junior Championship for the first time next season.

The Suffolk-based outfit have recently acquired two Ginetta G40’s, with one subsidised drive available as part of an upcoming shootout day.

On 10th February at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire, Excelr8 will offer prospective teenage racers the opportunity to win a £20,000 subsidy for the 2017 season.

The day will see drivers receive tuition from leading driver coach Phil Glew, before drivers go it alone on track as they try to win the scholarship.

“We have built Excelr8 on the premise of winning. We instil this in everything we do and we have proven this over the years with our involvement in Production Touring Cars and also MINI Challenge,” said team owner Justina Williams.

“Our involvement in the Ginetta Junior’s will be no different. Excelr8 will be there to win. Though we are not unrealistic and understand that there will be a lot for us to learn and that success will not come without hard work and dedication from the team.”
