VIDEO: A Champion Of 2 Worlds – Remembering John Surtees (1934-2017) | M1TG

1 Mins read

Mobil 1 The Grid pays tribute to John Surtees, after the sad passing of the motor racing legend on March 10, at the age of 83.

The Briton was the only man to have won world titles on both 2 & 4 wheels, and will be sadly missed.

Big John, as he was fondly known, won the 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix Championship in 1956, and then three years in succession in 1958, 1959 and 1960, before going on to win the Formula One World Championship with Scuderia Ferrari, in 1964.
