The Red Bull Global Rallycross series continues this weekend with a visit to its second new territory in a row.

Louisville, Kentucky will host the championship for the very first time after a successful season opener in Memphis, Tennessee.

The second round of the championship will also give fans another opportunity to take part in the Red Bull GRC Fantasy Challenge.

Take a look at our picks for the competition ahead of round two of the championship:

Tier 1 – Scott Speed

Volkswagen were outstanding in the opening round of the season. The latest version of the team’s Beetle platform proved to be just as potent as the last and expect similar performance this weekend.

There was very little to choose between team mates Tanner Foust and Scott Speed in Memphis, although it was Scott Speed who took the win. This weekend you’d have to say that those two will be the favourites again – Honda, Subaru, and Steve Arpin all look strong, but VARX look even stronger.

How on earth do you pick between the two? Well as reigning champion as winner of the last round, the momentum has to be with Speed.

Tier 2 – Mitchell DeJong

Mitchell DeJong had a stunning full-time Supercars début last time out taking fourth place and only missing out on a podium to a well-timed joker from Arpin. He was also the top finisher from a youthful Honda lineup.

The teenager took a dominant Lites crown in 2015 and has proven that his time away has done anything but slow him down. Chances of a podium in round two? Definitely 10 out of 10.

Chris Atkinson showed promise in round one – Credit: Lars Gange/Subaru Rally Team USA

Tier 3 – Chris Atkinson

Chris Atkinson’s result in Memphis really wasn’t a fair reflection of his weekend. The rally ace took his first heat win of his fledgling rallycross career and impressed with a number of lightning starts over the weekend.

Atkinson and Subaru have proved that they now have a strong package to challenge the front runners, so expect the Aussie to do just that.

Alex Keyes remains the Lites championship favourite – Credit: Chris Tedesco/Red Bull Content Pool

Tiebreaker – Alex Keyes

As with Atkinson, Alex Keyes’ result in Memphis isn’t a reflection of his true colours. Keyes is very much the championship favourite in what is surprisingly his first full season in GRC Lites, after a pair of part-time campaigns that have resulted in a handful of wins.

He needs to get his championship charge up and running, and he knows that.
