Sebastian Priaulx has made it three consecutive victories in the Ginetta Junior Championship after leading from lights-to-flag in the opening race at Croft.

Priaulx produced a dominant performance in qualifying earlier in the day, taking a double pole position by over a second from his closest rival.

The Guernseyman would continue that level of performance in the opening race, which would take place in tricky conditions as rain continued to fall in Yorkshire.

Fellow front-row starter Kiern Jewiss would keep tabs on him in the early stages, but Priaulx edged clear in the second half of the race to a near four second success.

Jewiss would take a fourth consecutive outright podium finish and Rookie victory double behind, while Tom Wood stormed into the top three on the final lap.

The driver to miss out on the outright podium was Tom Gamble, though fourth position was still enough to extend his championship lead over Daniel Harper.

That was due to Harper starting down in ninth following a five place grid penalty carried over from Oulton Park, with a battling display seeing him finish seventh.

Completing the top six ahead of him was Jordan Collard and Harry King, the former taking his best finish of the season so far with HHC Motorsport.

Adam Smalley survived a spin exiting the chicane to finish in eighth ahead of Charlie Digby and Harry Dyson, who were both handed five second track limits penalties.

Dyson would salvage a Rookie class podium in tenth despite a tough race seeing him endure spins at both the chicane and the final complex.
