Drivers and teams of the 2014 Red Bull Global Rallycross series have been busy testing as they prepare themselves for the season opening race at Top Gear Festival Barbados in three weeks time.

Patrik Sandell has been busy in Europe with his Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiesta in the Czech Republic and Hungary with a full week test programme.

Sverre Isachsen was happy with his test in Burlington as the Subaru Rally Team USA built upon the testing in Atlanta in February and March. “It was a good test, where I had a lot of start practice.” said Isachsen.

“Now everything is ready for the first race in Barbados. This will be a very good season. I know it!” he added.

Bucky Lasek also undertook testing in Burlington with the Subaru team.

Steve Arpin and Austin Dyne visited Lake Elsinore to give their cars a shakedown with Arpin returning in the Ford Fiesta ST he ran in 2013 while Dyne takes on the vehicle that Scott Speed won twice in last season.
