As part of their global marketing agreement Infiniti is to take part in the Red Bull Formula One Show Run Torino 2011 on April 30.
Following and agreement that covers the 2011 and 2012 season the marque has very visible, high profile branding on the RB7 – Red Bull Racing's current F1 car – as well as team clothing and equipment.
Two of the G Cabrios from the Japanese luxury car manufacturer will open the exhibition in front of fans in Turin – before they get to see a Red Bull F1 car driven around a 2km layout on the city's streets. The car will be driver alternately by Red Bull driver Mark Webber and Jaime Alguersuari from the sister Toro Rosso team.
The show begins at 3pm, with the loop circuit beginning and ending in Turin's Vittorio Veneto Square which will also host the event paddock.
Also on hand will be German Chris Pfeiffer, four-time Stunt Riding World Champion as well as a parade of classic cars and a racing car developed by students of Turin University.
“The Turin event demonstrates the real effectiveness of our partnership with Red Bull Racing,” said Andreas Sigl, Infiniti F1 Director. “The main reason Infiniti is involved in Formula One is for the huge exposure this global sport brings. Infiniti is rapidly expanding around the world and the geographic footprint of Formula One fits the growth plan of Infiniti. For us it is a cost effective way of getting our brand known and increase our brand attributes of performance and prestige. The fact that we are involved with the World Champions also helps of course – there is a great synergy between us and Red Bull Racing – both challenger brands, both driven by performance – so a great fit.”
