14:02Mark Webber second briefly before Vettel knocks him off the front row.

Fernando Alonso makes a point and sets yet another fastest time.

14:00Mark Webber now fastest of the ten drivers out on track, Fernando Alonso is the biggest threat now as the chequered flag comes out. Alonso crosses the line and is faster than all drivers.

13:58Sebastian Vettel sets a faster time with Michael Schumacher second… could it be an all German front row?

13:54Lewis Hamilton sets the benchmark time and is quickly beaten by SchumacherAlonso and Vettel

13:52Nico Hulkenberg runs of the track after he spins around, thankfully for the German he resumes on to track

13:50Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button head out on to track for the start of Q3, looks like the McLaren drivers are looking to make the most of the session.

13:40With two and a half minutes left of Q2 it looks like the top ten are now set with the rain continuing.

13:39Rosberg lapping nearly 4 seconds slower than his fastest time of the Q2 session.

13:38Nico Rosberg doesn’t seem to be able to improve on his seventeenth placed time at the moment, not looking good for the German.

13:35Mark Webber sets a time fast enough for seventh as he gets very unsettled on to the start/finish straight.

13:32Michael Schumacher leaps to the top of the times as the rain comes down.

13:20Michael Schumacher scrapes through to Q2 as Jean Eric Vergne misses out

13:20Home hero Michael Schumacher is currently looking to move out of 18th place to make it through to Q2.

13:19Webber moves out of the drop zone but only as far as fifteenth, will he make it through to Q2 or have the Red Bull team messed up?

13:15Lewis Hamilton has returned to his car as the other drivers start to set times on the softer compound. 4 minutes remain on the clock.

13:15Kimi Raikkonen tops the times as Mark Webber gets pushed further down the times, the Australian is thirteenth as he heads out on track again to secure his Q2 place.

13:14Nico Hulkenberg is in the danger zone but is currently on a quick lap. He improves to go second fastest after blitzing the second and third sectors.

13:12McLaren team are confident that Lewis Hamilton‘s time is good enough to get through to Q2, he still continues to top the times as he get out of the car

13:10All drivers are currently within the 107% time which is 1:21.556 based on the fastest lap so far by Lewis Hamilton

13:09Vettel moves up to seventh

13:07There is 12 minutes remaining of Q1 as Lewis Hamilton moves up and sets the fastest time

13:04Fernando Alonso jumps to the top of the times with Jenson Button now in second

13:04Nico Rosberg is currently top of the timesheets as the times start falling.

13:02The session is dry for the start but there are are rain clouds coming in.

13:00The cars are lining up at the end of the pitlane waiting for the green light, the session opens and Q1 gets under way.
