61 cars are set to take part in the 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans test day on June 9.
The test is a dress rehearsal for the race and is open to all teams entered in to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and to works cars after their entry has been accepted.
Nine LMP1 cars are lined up for the test, despite only eight entered in to the race (June 22-23) as Audi will be bringing an additional R18 e-tron quattro – to be driven by Marco Bonanomi – to the circuit. LMP2 will also feature additional cars from the Level 5 and Signatech teams, who will bring two cars to the test despite only running one car for the race itself.
Both LMGTE Pro and Am classes will be fully represented at the circuit, with twenty-five cars lined up across the two categories.
Two cars will be present in the LMPC category, but will not be eligible for the race, using the test day to discover the finer points of the full famous Circuit de la Sarthe.
