Fortec Motorsports have announced an additional driver for their team going into the final two rounds of the FIA F3 European Championship.
Swedish driver John Bryant Meisner has joined the squad following a season competing in the lower level German Formula 3 series to much acclaim. He will finish his campaign in that series before joining up with Fortec at the last rounds at Vallelunga and Hockenheim in October.
Bryant-Meisner will join up with existing drivers Felix Serralles and Pipo Derani, whilst also joining up with Swede Felix Rosenqvist on the grid.
Commenting on joining the team John Bryant Meisner said: “Joining Fortec Motorsports for the final two rounds of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship marks a fantastic opportunity for me.”
“I already get along very well with the team, and they are one of the main players on the junior single- seater arena. The FIA Formula 3 European Championship is extremely competitive – I’m well aware of that – and this will undoubtedly be the greatest challenge of my career so far. I have learned a lot with Performance Racing in the ATS Formula 3 Cup this year, so hopefully I’ll be able to do a solid job.
“I want to continue to gain as much experience as possible, and this puts me in a great position to do so. I’m really looking forward to driving the F312 chassis and to compete against the fastest drivers in Formula 3.”
