Karam signs Dreyer & Reinbold deal for 100th Indy 500

1 Mins read

Sage Karam has signed a deal to race for the Dreyer & Reinbold – Kingdom Racing team for the 100th Indianapolis 500 this May.

The twenty-year-old American will return to DRR having made his Indy 500 debut with the team back in 2014, finishing ninth and ran twelve races with the Chip Ganassi Racing squad in 2015, including once more the Indy 500.

Karam, the 2013 Indy Lights champion, will run with the sponsorship of Gas Monkey Garage, which is featured on the Discovery Channel show ‘Fast N’ Loud’, and will be reunited with the #24 Dreyer & Reinbold – Kingdom Racing car in which he made his IndyCar debut.

“I’m really thrilled to be associated with Gas Monkey Garage for the 100th Indy 500,” said Karam. “It’s exciting to return to the Dreyer & Reinbold – Kingdom team as well. We had a great run in 2014 at Indy.

“As a kid, Discovery Channel was one of my favorite stations and, most recently, I really got into the ‘Fast N’ Loud’ show with the Gas Monkey Garage guys. I love cars and these guys are fun to watch, so I can’t wait to work with them and drive the Gas Monkey Special in May.”
