Jack Minshaw is the latest driver to be announced as making the transition from the Ginetta GT5 Challenge to the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup this season with Xentek Motorsport.
Minshaw will join fellow Challenge graduates Jac Constable and Alex Taylor at the Chesterfield-based outfit, as well as established series race-winner Carl Boardley.
The 26 year old makes the step up following two years in the Challenge, with a strong 2016 season featuring three podium finishes and eighth in the final standings.
The Cheshire-based racer will compete in the AM class of the Supercup this season, with the aim of stepping up to the Pro category in 2018.
“I’ve learnt in the two years I’ve been racing as part of the Ginetta family and I hope to continue to improve as I make the step up to the Supercup,” said Minshaw.
“The big grids and competitive element is a big factor in why I joined Ginetta in the first place, as is the clear route for progression they offer.”
