Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team Test driver Tatiana Calderón will conduct two days of testing at Ferrari‘s Fiorano Test Track.
The female Colombian driver completed her first ever F1 experience in a promotional event after the Mexican Grand Prix, where she drove a modern F1 machinery for the first time. Her test also makes her the first Latin-American female driver to pilot an F1 car.
Calderón, who competes in the GP3 Series, will conduct another test with Sauber this weekend in Italy, at the Fiorano test track in Maranello where she will drive the V8-powered C32.
The twenty-five year old is ecstatic to be back behind a wheel of an F1 car so quickly after her first drive in Mexico.
“It is great to be behind the wheel of a Formula One car again so quickly after my debut last month where I drove the Sauber C37 at a Promotional Event in Mexico,” said Calderón.
“This next step will be even more special, as I will complete two full days of testing in the Sauber C32-Ferrari. It will be exciting to gain further experience and to learn more about these cars. I look forward to continuing to work, develop, and improve together with the team.

Sauber team principal Frédéric Vasseur is convinced that Calderón is capable of racing at the highest level and is pleased to have her conducing more tests with the team.
