The 2021 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine will now start at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari after the round at Spa-Francorchamps was rescheduled.
For a second consecutive season, the championship will support Formula 1 at Imola, with the action set to begin across the weekend of 16-18 April. Indeed, the championship will support Formula 1 for the opening three rounds of the year, with races following at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 7-9 May and then Monte Carlo on 20-23 May.
The season was set to begin in Belgium, but this was forced to be altered due to the rearranging of the prologue for the FIA World Endurance Championship being held at the same venue.
As it stands, Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is set to race in Belgium across the weekend of 23-25 July as the sixth round of the year after trips to the Circuit Paul Ricard in France and Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands.
Trips to the Nürburgring in Germany, Red Bull Ring in Austria and Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello follow before the season concludes at the end of October at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the third trip to the Italian mainland.
