The 2020 running of the Total 24 Hours of Spa will run over 25 hours, as the event coincides with the end of European Summer Time.

An extra hour of racing will be gained during the October 24/25 event, the first time in the history of the race, following the race’s moved date following the coronavirus pandemic.

Although the race will start at 15:30 on the Saturday afternoon and finish at the same time the following day, the clocks go back at 03:00 on the Saturday night, making it a 25-hour race.

Originally planned for its traditional July date, the race incorporates both the GT World Challenge Europe and Intercontinental GT Challenge series’ and will take place in the autumn alongside a quartet of support races.

As well as the headline now 25-hour race, also on the bill are the returning Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, GT4 European Series and Formula Renault Eurocup championships, with the TCR Europe series making its debut in the line-up for 2020.

Tickets for the 2020 Total 24 Hours of Spa are on sale now and available to buy at: www.total24hours.com.
