British driver Nick Yelloly has already had a great start to his 2020 racing season with a fifth-place finish at the second round of Nürburgring Endurance Series earlier this month alongside his ROWE Racing teammate Alexander Sims.

This weekend he will be climbing behind the wheel of a BMW M6 GT3 for the opening round of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup at Imola, San Marino and next weekend will be competing in the ADAC GT Masters at Lausitzring, Germany.

29 year old Yelloly will be driving the #10 Boutsen Ginion Racing BMW alongside Bronze racers Karim Ojjeh and Gilles Vannelet in a 46 car Pro-Am entry field. The Belgium team have plenty of experience in the series, having first entered the competition in 2012 and switching over to using BMW cars in 2015.

“I’ve had a busy few weeks behind the wheel, which is a good thing after a long off-season,” Yelloly began. “I don’t know the Boutsen Ginion team that well, but they are close to BMW and will put out a strong car, that I know. Together with teammates Karim and Gilles, we’re looking forward to the challenge in such a big field at Imola.

I started my factory BMW career in this championship, so I’m looking forward to returning this weekend,” he continued. “I then turn my focus to ADAC GT Masters, where I feel pretty well prepared after a good test at the weekend at Lausitzring. We were in the ballpark time-wise, maybe three-tenths off the best, so it’s a good start and we can look forward to a solid programme there with Schubert Motorsport.
