Team BMR Restart are one of the newest teams to make their leap into the British Touring Car Championship pool, expanding into the championship’s ‘new era’ NGTC regulations following a summer break deal with a fellow squad.
The team brought a SEAT Leon to the championship for their birth in BTCC, bringing in motorcycle racer Warren Scott for the driving duties as they contested the Jack Sears Trophy class created in 2013 for S2000-specification machinery.
Scott missed out a class win during the first half of the season, following which the team achieved a partnership with Tony Gilham’s Team HARD squad to run an NGTC Volkswagen Passat for Scott during the rest of the season.
