Honda’s Esteban Guerrieri took his first win of the 2018 season in a race full of drama.
Thed Bjork made it two from two with his second pole position of the weekend at the Nurburgring.
Thed Bjork will line up on the front row of the grid for the opening World Touring Car Cup race in Germany, breaking the TCR lap record in the process.
The World Touring Car Cup heads to the notorious ‘Green Hell’ for the third event of season.
The DTM champion will be on double duty on 10-13 May as he will also be competing in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
Thed Bjork may’ve scored pole position, but it was his YMR team-mate Yvan Muller who took victory in the opening WTCR race.
Alongside Rene Rast, Kris Richard has become the second driver to be given a wildcard entry to compete at the Nurburgring round of the 2018 WTCR season.
