Despite efforts to salvage the Grand Prix of Long Beach, a new date could not be found and the race will not be run in 2020.
With IndyCar cancelling the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, the Stadium Super Trucks’ support date at the street circuit is up in the air. Long Beach has hosted the trucks since their inaugural season in 2013.
The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach has been cancelled by local Long Beach city authorities due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Acura will take over sponsorship of the Grand Prix of Long Beach later this year. The event, which will see action from both the NTT IndyCar Series and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, was previously sponsored by Toyota.
