Ben Tuck and Ben Green’s Century Motorsport BMW prevailed in a damp GT4 qualifying session at Donington Park earlier this afternoon.
Century Motorsport and BMW also maintained their form by locking out the GT4 class’ front row. Dean Macdonald and championship leader Jack Mitchell claimed pole by just 0.022s from team-mates Ben Green and Ben Tuck.
Jack Mitchell’s victory at Spa-Francorchamps leaves the Century Motorsport driver 16.5 clear of his nearest GT4 rivals as British GT heads to Brands Hatch for Round 6 this weekend. There is the possibility that the GT4 drivers’ title could be decided on Sunday.
