In the closest qualifying session of 2018, the 6 Hours of Shanghai saw the LMP classes lock out the front rows, but the gaps between the top threes in all classes was very close.

Keeping up a trend they have had since the 6 Hours of Silverstone in August, Ginetta have once again taken their sole LMP1 car off the entry list for next month’s 6 Hours of Shanghai.
Toyota Gazoo Racing and Jackie Chan DC Racing took dominate one-two finishes in their respective classes, whilst Porsche took victory in both LM GTE Pro and LM GTE Am at the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Fuji.
Both of the Free Practice sessions for the 6 Hours of Fuji today were delayed or cut short due to long periods of red flag conditions. Surprisingly this wasn’t due to the usual bad weather, but loose kerbs on the track.
It has been nearly two months since the FIA World Endurance Championship has battled it out on the asphalt, but returning to Toyota Gazoo Racing’s home track, the 34 strong grid are ready to go racing again.
Both DragonSpeed and Aston Martin Racing hace claimed their maiden pole position in LMP2 and LM GTE Pro ahead of tomorrow’s 6 Hours of Fuji.
