Elliott, 56, famously won the first Winston Million in 1985 – a prize of one million dollars up for grabs for anyone who could win three of the four â€˜grand slamâ€™ races on the NASCAR tour â€“ which earned him the nickname â€˜Million Dollar Billâ€™.
