With Daniel Suárez reportedly joining the team, Parker Kligerman is out at Gaunt Brothers Racing.
After it was discovered that the three conspired to manipulate the results of the 2019 NASCAR Cup owners’ championship during the season finale to better one of their cars’ positions for a better payout, Spire Motorsports, Premium Motorsports, and Rick Ware Racing have received penalties. In addition to fines and indefinite suspensions, they have received points deductions.
Three years after running his last Cup race, Parker Kligerman returns to NASCAR’s premier series at the Coca-Cola 600, where he will drive the #96 for Gaunt Brothers Racing.
With Toyota Racing Development (TRD) celebrating its 40th anniversary, Gaunt Brothers Racing will field the #96 for TRD test driver Drew Herring at Homestead. It will be Herring’s first career Cup race.
