Two-time Indianapolis 500 champion, Juan Pablo Montoya, announced yesterday that he would be missing the 2018 running of the famous IndyCar race to instead prepare for his Le Mans debut in June.
Josef Newgarden led a trio of Team Penske cars at the top of the time-sheets in an open test for the Verizon IndyCar Series at Alabama’s Barber Motorsports Park yesterday. The test also saw veteran Helio Castroneves return to the cockpit.
