IDEC Sport has secured their second pole position of the season thanks to a last-gasp effort from Paul-Loup Chatin in the closing moments of the qualifying session for tomorrow’s 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring.
The #25 Lanan Racing Norma, stood on the top step of the podium at the end of an exciting Road to Le Mans encounter while the GT3 category was won by the #51 Spirit of Race Ferrari after the class leaders collided early in the race.
Both of the class pole-sitters in the first of the Road To Le Mans races at the Circuit de la Sarthe claimed victory during the 55-minute contest.
In the European Le Mans Series, it was the #33 TDS Racing car who will start on pole in LMP2 as Racing Engineering spin.
Next week, the small sports car manufacturer from the southwest of France will see fifteen of its N30 LMP3 chassis’ racing at La Sarthe.
