Current Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup star Tom Hibbert (pictured) and former series champion Charlie Robertson will team up for this weekend’s GT4 European Series Northern Cup outing at Brands Hatch.

The duo will share a Simpson Motorsport prepared Ginetta G55 GT4 as they tackle two one-hour races around the Grand Prix circuit in Kent.

Both drivers have fond memories of the GP track, with it having been the scene of Robertson’s Supercup title success in 2014, while Hibbert picked up his maiden Supercup victory at the circuit in October.

They have experience working together as well, having been partners in a Simpson Motorsport G55 GT4 in the Sepang 12 Hours in Malaysia in January, securing a class podium finish.

“I’m really looking forward to joining the GT4 European Series and partnering with Charlie [Robertson] once again,” said Hibbert.

“We had a great time at Sepang, and the car is so strong in GT4 specification that I’m certain we’re going to be challenging for a podium.”

Robertson added: “The GT4 European Series offers a great platform to showcase our G55 GT4 car to a European audience. We’ve got a great team behind us, and I am hopeful for a great result once again.”
