SV Departure For Mitchell With 20Ten Switch

1 Mins read

Jack Mitchell has switched from SV Racing to 20Ten Racing for the remainder of the 2015 Renault UK Clio Cup season.

Mitchell has made a real impression in his maiden Clio Cup campaign so far, having become the first Ginetta Junior champion ever to make the transition to the tin-top series.

The 17 year old has secured six top six finishes in the first ten races, picking up a maiden podium finish with third place at Oulton park in June.

He’s also shown his pace in qualifying with top five start positions in six races so far, including a best of a double third place on the grid at Donington Park.

“I’d like to thank SV Racing for their support in 2015 but now I’m looking forward to an exciting new chapter with 20Ten,” said Mitchell.

“Last year they pushed for the title and have been right near the front again this season so I’m really keen to begin this new relationship with them.”

Mitchell is the latest driver to leave the SV ranks, with championship leader Ant Whorton-Eales moving to new outfit Maximum Motorsport.
