Tanner Foust took his 17th heat or semi final victory of the season by winning Semi Final B of the second part of the MCAS New River Red Bull Global Rallycross double header.

The Volkswagen Andretti driver led home the Chip Ganassi Racing duo of Steve Arpin and Brian Deegan to claim the best starting spot for the final as only three cars made it to the start of that race.

Earlier in Semi Final A, Eriksson led an Olsbergs Honda one-two with Joni Wiman in second, ahead of Jeff Ward after early race leader Scott Speed was handed a stop/go penalty for aggressive driving.

The Last Chance Qualifier was later cancelled due to the weather meaning that Speed, Patrik Sandell, Austin Dyne, and Bucky Lasek all receive starting spots for the final with Sverre Isachsen again missing out on the main event.
