Herberth Motorsport line up with a two car effort for the 2017 Total 24 hours of Spa headed up by Porsche works driver Sven Müller and Porsche Young Professional Mathieu Jaminet.
Joining the two will be amateur drivers Daniel Allemann and Ralf Bohn, while in the sister car there will be an all-German driver lineup of Alfred and Robert Renauer, Jürgen Häring and Marc Lieb, who is the reigning WEC Champion and outright winner of the 2016 Le Mans 24-hour race, he also claimed victory in 2003 at the 24 hours of Spa.
Sven Müller is looking forward to heading to Belgium, “Spa is one of my favourite racetracks and I’ve always managed to achieve good results there. When I contested the WEC race there, Kévin Estre and I clinched third place.
“I’ve also climbed the Spa podium three times in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, two of them as the winner. I’m really looking forward to driving there and to take part in a Blancpain race for the first time.
“With Mathieu and the two fast amateur drivers, we have good chances with Herberth Motorsport.”
Alfred Renauer, Team owner of Herberth Motorsport added, “We’re fielding two really good cars in the Pro class at Spa. The race is a highlight of our Blancpain season, and many drivers from other series such as the DTM and the WEC will be competing there, too.
“As a team, we have a lot of experience at 24-hour events and we’ve also achieved successes at Dubai, Barcelona and two times at Paul Ricard.”
