Carlos Checa set for MotoGP return?

1 Mins read

Carlos Checa could be set to make a return to the MotoGP world after being left out in the cold with the news that Jonathan Rea and Max Neukirchner would be contesting the WSB 2010 championship for Ten Kate Honda.

With earlier rumours in the season pointing to Checa heading to the AMA series, the downfall of the championship has ended those chances.

So where does that leave the Spaniard?

According to Spanish sources he has already been in talks with Ducati to make his MotoGP return with the deal being pretty much signed and sealed.

Checa last raced in the MotoGP championship in 2007 on the Team LCR Honda, finishing a lowely 14th place, since then he’s been with the Ten Kate team in World Superbikes with mixed results.
