Poulsen and Fabiani join WTCC grid for Monza

Kristian Poulsen and Fabio Fabiani are set to join the WTCC campaign at the next round in Monza.

Both drivers will join the Independent category with Poulsen driving a BMW 320si run by his own team Poulsen Motorsport. A regular in the Danish Touring Car Championship the Dane has finished on the podium a number in 2007 and 2010 for the FIA European Touring Car Cup. Last year saw him finish in tenth place after taking part for the Liqui Moly Engstler team.

Fabiani will also be at the wheel of a BMW 320si, this time for Proteam Motorsport who are expanding their team to cater for a third car alongside Sergio Hernández and Stefano D’Aste. The Italian previously won the Super Production class in the 2008 FIA Touring Car Cup and made his WTCC debut in 2009 at Imola with Proteam.
