Superleague Formula drivers Robert Doornbos and Yelmer Buurman took to the Dutch Tarmac at Zandvoort over the weekend in a number of demonstration runs in front of race fans.
Current championship leader Buurman entertained his fellow countrymen and women in his AC Milan car whilst the other Dutch Superleague driver, Doornbos of Corinthians got behind the wheel of a NASCAR stock car before taking the Netherlands Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende out for a spin in a two-seater Minardi F1 car.
This was a part of a number of events held for Bavaria City Racing week for pleased racing fans in and around the Rotterdam area.
Buurman and Doornbos will be back in Superleague Formula action next weekend as they head to the Italian circuit of Adria after the four week break since they were seen at Brands Hatch at the beginning of the month.
