Sportscar Specialist Brabham Nears V8 Debut

1 Mins read

Former 24 hour of Le Mans winner David Brabham is preparing for his V8 Supercar debut at next weekends L&H 500 at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Victoria, Australia.

A four week gap between the recent Mosport race, and the famous season finale at Petit Le Mans, leaves Brabham free to head down under and team up with Alex Davison in the Irwin Tools Ford Falcon for the 500km event at Phillip Island.

From there he will fly back to compete in the Petit Le Mans, before immediately jumping back on a plane to head to Australia once more, for the iconic Bathurst 1000, again alongside Alex Davison.

The endurance rounds of the V8 Supercar Championship Series won’t be Brabham’s only taste of V8 action in 2010, as he has also signed up to compete in the SuperCarnivale event, which sees a host of international racing stars competing against each other in V8 Supercars around Surfers Paradise.
