Ho raced at the same two rounds last year for Team Engstler, with his best result of 17th coming in the second race at Macau, finshing as the best of the five local drivers. He is currently leading the Macau Touring Car Championship, which he is aiming to win for the fourth time. He has also won one race in the Asian Touring Car Series this year at Sepang in Malaysia.

Ho's WTCC entry will be supported by Portuguese outfit Sports & You, which has experience of running the BMW 320si in the Portuguese Touring Car Championship, which it won with driver Jose Pedro Fontes in 2009.
