Dunlop MSA Formula Ford of Great Britain race winner Geoff Uhrhane will make his CERTINA Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship debut this weekend when he joins Atech Reid GP for the latest rounds at Brands Hatch.

Australian racer Uhrhane moved to the UK earlier this year and has so far claimed two wins and a total of eleven podiums in Formula Ford. The youngster had an encouraging test with Atech at Pembrey earlier this month and will use the Brands Hatch races to further familiarise himself with the car ahead of competing at the Silverstone Finals weekend and then a full campaign in 2012.

Uhrhane said:“I am really looking forward to driving this weekend. It was nice to jump into a car with so much grip after driving the Formula Ford all year!”

Atech's David Hayle added: “It will be a really interesting test to see just where Geoff stands against seasoned Formula Renault 2.0 drivers. I am sure he will surprise a few people!”
