James Theodore Will Race At Silverstone

Fortec Motorsport have confirmed that James Theodore will join their team for the final rounds of the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship at Silverstone in October, joining regular drivers Josh Webster, Archie Hamilton and Victor Jiminez.

Theodore will drive the car that Kieran Vernon drove earlier in the season and brings a wealth of experience to the seat, having competed in the series in 2009 and 2010. After finishing third overall in 2010, Theodore has made one appearance in the championship this year, taking fifth place at Oulton Park with the Mtech Lite outfit.

Fortec's Formula Renault BARC Team Manager Steve Lynch is excited about Theodore joining the team, commenting: “James has proven that he can win races in BARC and I am very pleased to have completed a deal that sees him join our team. He will be able to come in and be on the pace from the outset and I am hopeful that he can produce some strong race results.”
